This whole book is a masterpiece. It is beautiful. The way the poems are arranged, the name fits perfectly well with the general theme, the poems are incredible. I like this book a lot because there is a lot of quality in each of the poems, there is a terrible theme that is just alluring, so captivating. Grim? Yes, but it is beautifully grim. It is constructed so well, and most of them breathe life and movement, ironically enough. One of the poems that is interesting is the one called "23rd Birthday" because it tells us about how when it is your birthday it is indeed a day closer to your death. This is something not many realize, as they see the glass half full, but this image is really great for those who see the glass half empty. It actually gives a grim image to a birthday party. One day less of your life, one day closer to your death. Wow.
This whole issue is so pleasing to read and to look at at, I agree with Unknown it is arranged in a beautiful way and you can see the effort and love that was put into it. It is also nice to see only three authors display themselves. The poem ‘A thing’ made me a little dizzy which I think was the purpose of it, the format goes beautifully with the poem’s theme.
